Looks like NBC and Heroes are continuing to prepare for the worst. This writer’s strike just got a little more real for fans of Heroes. TV Guide’s Mike Ausiello has some frightening news:

We’ll keep our ears to the floor for further information about this strike, an 11th hour meeting last night wasn’t able to move anything forward.

Why? Because the writers want .06% on DVD sales instead of their current .03% (at least those were the numbers someone quoted) and they want a cut of downloaded content/new media revenues. |

| I agree that they deserve a better cut on that, but I think its wrong for that to effect the shows we love and care about. |

Why? All shows have season finales... what's the difference if this one comes early? |

And at least they get to wrap up the current volume. I want to see volume three as much as anybody here, but at least the story will be able to resume once everybody gets their ducks in a row.

Are other shows being so dramatically affected by the strike? So far Heroes/HeroesOrigins are the only ones I've heard any "doom" about.......

Lost looks to be affected more. Theyve only got about 7 episodes filmed and the writers are only upto episode 10 or so.
